Advocate Neamatullah was inspired to social service by participating in religious and social work in Shikarpur village and first took the initiative to establish a mosque and primary school in his village Shikarpur in 1985. Later, with the help of family and villagers, he established Neamatullah Primary School in 1986 and Mosque in 1989 on his family land.
Then one by one he launched many more social institutions and created a complex in the service of religion and humanity. From the beginning, through this complex, he worked for the spiritual and social development of the common people, especially the underprivileged people, till the last day of his life. This complex is located by 12 kilometers away from the north of Cumilla Sadar in Shikarpur village of Burichong upazilla in the north.
After the founder’s death in 2020, his family members took the initiative to establish a foundation to properly institutionalize the complex and institutions, and in 2023, Neamatullah Foundation was officially established with the help of Shikarpur villagers. This foundation will undertake various service activities to solve the religious and social problems of the society which will ultimately help the weaker and underprivileged sections of the society to improve the social standard.
To build education, unity and peace among the weak, disadvantaged and exploited communities and to serve their spiritual, educational and social development.
Religious practice, human service, egalitarian social system, where man realizes his responsibility towards creator and creation and cares for nature.
The activities of this foundation will primarily be conducted through three committees at three levels based on grants from the Board of Trustees. Later, the executive committee will generate income for the foundation by undertaking various service activities with the villagers depending on the donations. The money earned from these service activities will be spent on religious and humanitarian services. Every year the Executive Committee shall publish the list of services for the following year and shall work accordingly throughout the year However, it is compulsory to render services every year in religious, educational and health sectors.

The work of the foundation has been recognized by various organizations and institutions. We are grateful for their faith and trust in our services by giving us such an honor. It encourages us and instills a sense of faith that we are on the right path while reminding us of the great responsibility we owe to the elders of our society.
